Welcome to Stafford International School. One of the oldest International Schools in Colombo, Sri Lanka! A student’s transition can be complicated by the social, emotional and physiological changes that can negatively impact on his learning.
University Placements
Stafford students in 2020 has secured some of the most prestigious university placements with our students gaining placements into prestigious ivy league schools such as Yale, Cornell, Dartmouth and University of Pennsylvania. School’s such as Yale have acceptance rates of less that 5%, with only a handful of Sri Lankans obtaining places in their undergraduate program in the last 10 years.
Outgoing deputy Head Prefect of School Shan Gunesekera has secured a place at Yale University, Cornell university and Dartmouth college. Whilst outgoing Head Prefect Ashvin Arsakularatne has been offerred a place at the prestigious university of Pensylvannia. Such prestigious placements cements Stafford’s place as a one of best international School’s in Colombo. Other students have offers from top British universities and merit scholarships from universities such as NYU Abu Dhabi and NYU Shanghai.
